“Astronaut – End of Improvement” (2024) • 10” x 14” • Acrylic • by Connor Lindahl • From the artist: “This piece is a collage with imagery sourced from vintage TIME magazines and postcards. In my collage, I reflect themes of nostalgia, history, and identity. I compose my work in Adobe Photoshop and combine images from the past to create vintage-style artwork with themes that are relevant today. I focus on each collage's theme, thinking about the story and emotions I want to convey. Each piece tells a visual story, inviting viewers to interpret the layers of meaning within. Ultimately, I hope to spark curiosity and reflection, encouraging viewers to think outside the box and interpret the collages in their own way.
