NEW CHAPTER. Visit Eau Claire announced Kenzi Havlicek will serve as executive director after months as interim executive director.

After several months serving as interim executive director of Visit Eau Claire, Kenzi Havlicek will now drop the “interim” from that title moving forward.

Visit Eau Claire shared the news on July 25, noting Havlicek’s decade-plus of experience with the organization. Beginning as an intern in 2010, she has held various positions including social media specialist and marketing manager, director of marketing, and deputy director. She was also named one of Destination International’s 30 Under 30 in 2013.

“Kenzi’s passion for the Chippewa Valley and her extensive experience within our organization make her the ideal leader for Visit Eau Claire,” said Becky Squires, chairperson of the organization’s Board of Directors. “We are confident that under her direction, we will continue to thrive and promote this beautiful area with unmatched dedication and creativity.”

Visit Eau Claire is an organization, funded by local room taxes, that promotes Eau Claire and surrounding communities as a tourist destination.
