Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers have a cult following across the nation, and the eatery’s savory chicken-focused menu and mouthwatering Cane’s Sauce are garnering a loyal, growing customer base each year. It was no surprise when news of the fast food chain’s plans to come to Eau Claire – initially announced as happening in 2025 – blew up online. Now, local Raising Cane’s fans can expect their beloved chicken chain even sooner.

Thanks to a mild winter, upcoming Raising Cane’s locations across the Midwest are experiencing shifts in timeline, boosting some earlier than expected. The Eau Claire location, currently under construction at the corner of Prill Road and Gateway Drive on Eau Claire’s south side, is one of those.

During a hiring event on Tuesday, June 11, Regional Recruiter Penny Storcz said the local location is tentatively slated to open at the end of November this year.

The Eau Claire location is hiring for several positions including general manager, restaurant manager, assistant leader, and more. Raising Cane's is hosting its Manager Hiring Event today, June 11, from 10am-4pm at Fairfield by Marriott (1666 Princeton Crossing, Eau Claire).

Raising Cane’s was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996, and now has more than 700 locations worldwide.
