The new year will kick off a flurry of foodie events in the Valley, from cocktail club meet-ups to cooking classes and more, allowing you to take your love for food to a new level and experience. Here are six events to put on your calendar for 2024!

Curry Thursday with Chef Stacy
Every Thursday, beginning at 4pm | Brewery Nonic

A weekly occurrence that folks in the Valley simply must experience, local chef Stacy Lang brings incredible flavors to life at Menomonie’s Brewery Nonic (621 4th St. W) with an ever-changing menu that will keep you coming back. Featured dishes at previous Curry Thursday events include beef pho dumplings, peanut butter ramen, rangoon rolls, chive cakes, rice-fried chicken drumsticks, and others. Of course, you can wash anything down with an on-site brew. More info here.

Cookbooks and Cards
Monday, Jan. 8, 6-7:30pm | Altoona Public Library

A recurring food-focused, free event, attendees are invited to check out the highlighted cookbook prior to the event and bring dishes to share with all. After eating at the Cookbooks and Cards meeting, a card game is enjoyed. Heck, you could make it a monthly venture – both to try your hand at crafting new meals and attending a community event! More info here.

Wednesday, Jan. 10, 7-10pm | Helix Wine, Craft Bar & Cafe

Hang out with other local cocktail lovers and sample new drinks at January’s meet-up event! Free sampling and one drink ticket are given to each attendee, tickets are available for purchase online.
