STAFF NOTE: Best Of the Chippewa Valley Reader Poll Voting is in Full Swing

it's the most wonderful time of the year – voting in the Best Of the Chippewa Valley Reader Poll!

If there’s one thing we in the Chippewa Valley love, it’s giving our opinion, both solicited and unsolicited. Being able to let others know what we like and what we maybe wouldn’t try again encompasses the human experience. Since 2007, Volume One has offered locals a chance to vote for their favorite restaurants, murals, musicians, and much, MUCH more thanks to the 350-plus categories we have. Remember: you can vote in as many or as few categories as you want, once per category, so just vote for the stuff you know and leave the rest to others.

Voting is open now at, so cast your votes for the best of the best (in your humble opinion) in the Valley! Don’t see your favorite org/business/person/whatever on the poll? Have no fear! You can still nominate through the voting period. The last day to vote is on Friday, Dec. 8, so make sure to cast all the votes your heart desires before then.

Last year, we had the largest amount of votes ever cast in the poll, coming in at a whopping 192,626 total individual votes. How crazy is that?!? Hopefully this year we’ll see even more.

Be on the lookout for the results of the poll, which will be printed and posted in the new year. Remember, this is just a fun way to show your local favorites some love! Have fun.
