Have you got a festively decorated home or business in Menomonie that you’d love to share with the wider community? If your answer is a hearty “Ho ho ho,” then Explore Menomonie and the Menomonie Parks and Recreation Department invite you to enter the annual citywide Parade of Lights.

The program is “a way to bring people together and provide memory-making moments this holiday season,” the Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center said. Businesses and residents are invited to put up their exterior lights and decorations, then register their addresses by midnight on Sunday, Nov. 26. Entries will be placed on a map so the community can cruise around the city and enjoy them.

A panel of judges will vote for winners in two categories – Best Business Light Display and Best Residential Light Display – while the public will vote online for People’s Choice Business Light Display and People’s Choice Residential Light Display.
