“Comfort” (2021) • Digital Art   From the artist: “Comfort was made in a time of stress. During finals, I wanted nothing more than to run away as I was overwhelmed with the pressure I was feeling. I wanted to be a fox taking a nap in the woods. The protection of the forest from the outside, warm dappled sunlight from the leaves, and the comfort of the moss on the ground was what I yearned for. No responsibilities, no problems. Just rest. I wanted that warm environment. For me, it was like a hug that was making sure that you were alright. Sometimes you need a pause when things feel like you have no time to take for yourself, and so, this art was my version of selfcare.”
