A DUO'S DREAM. Elly & Lula Boutique recently opened on Fairfax Street in Eau Claire.

Two sisters have accomplished their shared dream of opening a boutique! Unique trends for women’s and baby apparel, and a variety of candles, soaps, and accessories, are available at Elly & Lula Boutique (2217A Fairfax Street, Eau Claire), as of July 28.

Shelby Sterba-Lato and Brooke Sterba remember fond memories of mother-daughter outings where they’d shop at boutiques in the cities. Now they wish to bring that same joyful experience to Eau Claire.

Though new to the retail scene in Eau Claire, the sisters have the passion to make their boutique perfect for any woman looking to add something unique to her wardrobe. Stay tuned for jewelry and shoes coming soon to the inventory.

“We try to make (the store) upscale but very personal also. The clothes and brands we carry are also different from other boutiques around the area,” Shelby said. “Our baby clothes give more of an organic, unique feel. A lot of our women's clothing gives off more of a Free People vibe along with everyday luxury.”

Baby clothes range from newborn to three years, women’s clothing is XS-2X, and jean size is 26-32 with plus sizes in 14-20. Jeans specifically for tall women are also available. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-7pm, and Saturday 9:30am-1pm.

“Our number one goal is to help women of any age feel empowered and confident in any outfit they put on,” Shelby continued. “We hope that when they leave they have found something that makes them feel beautiful, comfortable, and unique.”
