RUN IT BACK! The Eau Claire Marathon was crowned best in Wisconsin by the leading online race finder.

RaceRaves, an online race finder and reviews space for runners around the globe, recently announced the winners of its 2023 “Runners Choice: Best Marathons in the U.S.” poll – and the Eau Claire Marathon landed in first place for Wisconsin!

The top marathon in each state was identified based on votes from runners across the country on RaceRaves.com, with the Eau Claire Marathon crowned the best in Wisconsin. The state’s runner-ups went to the Madison Marathon and Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon.

The Eau Claire Marathon was held this year on Saturday, April 29, and Sunday, April 30. The annual event including a full and half marathon, 5K and 10K, four-person relay, a competitive walking division, and a kids run. It’s also a popular Boston Marathon Qualifier in the Midwest.

Next year’s event is slated for April 27-28, 2024.
