What time is it? Why, it’s Eat O’Clock, of course! Husband and wife duo, Anee Vang and Leng Thao, are bringing authentic and delicious Hmong eats to Forage (403 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire) in downtown Eau Claire. They call their pop-up, Eat O’Clock and so far have found great success.

Serving things like pho, pork belly, fried rice, angel wings, egg rolls, and steam rolls, Anee and Leng are hoping to turn this pop-up into their own deli or food truck someday. Though they’re shooting for the pop-up to run every two weeks, it may be a little inconsistent since they both work full-time jobs.

Their first pop-up was on February 4 and sold out some menu items quickly. The menu will keep changing and the couple is excited for the summer so they can start grilling some food and spend as much time as they can outside.

“It’s important to support small start-ups and established small businesses,” Anee said. “Hopefully we can inspire other entrepreneurs not to be afraid to start their business.”

Keep up with Eat O’Clock on Anee’s Facebook (Eat O’Clock page coming soon) and on the EC Foodies Facebook Page.
