E.C. Chamber Orchestra to Perform Works by Living Composers

The Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, northern Wisconsin’s premier chamber music group, will focus on the works of current composers for its concert on Saturday, March 18, at 7:30pm in the Jamf Theatre at the Pablo Center for the Confluence, 128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire.

The program for “Inspired – Works of Living Composers” includes Viet Cuong’s Double Oboe Concerto with oboe soloists Steven Maijala and Christa Garvey, Leo Brouwer’s Concerto Elegiaco with guitar soloist Felipe Vargas Magdaleno, as well as Dai Wei’s Dancing Moonlight and Adolphus Hailstork’s An American Port of Call.
