DOUBLE HELPING: Jersey Mike’s Aims to Put Two Sub Shops in E.C.

Eau Claire can eat fresh at Subway, get it freaky fast at Jimmy John’s, or even dine local with Elbert & Gerbert’s. What it can’t do yet is grab a sub at Jersey Mike’s – but that will soon change.
Two Eau Claire restaurants will be added to the New Jersey-based chain’s roster of more than 2,400 worldwide in the near future, according to information posted recently on the company’s website. Jersey Mike’s sandwich shops are slated for 945 W. Clairemont Ave., Suite C (in the same complex as Chipotle and Hawaii Poke Bowl in front of the defunct Shoko) and 4732 Golf Road (currently the address of Caribou Coffee near Oakwood Mall). There’s no further information about the eateries on the company’s website, including opening dates.
