It’s (Almost) Time to Rock the Riverfront! Registration Now Open

RCU’s annual Rock the Riverfront-Charity Classic has announced its beneficiaries and opened registration

It’s about time to think about rockin’ the riverfront! Registration is now open for the Royal Credit Union Foundation’s 29th Rock the Riverfront and Charity Classic, taking place at Phoenix Park in person on Saturday, June 24, 2023. 

The annual run/walk includes two options for adults and two youth races, plus games, a cash-grab wind tunnel, face painting, food trucks, and more. Folks can sign up for the 10K or 2-mile run/walk while youths can participate in either the half- or quarter-mile races. 

This year’s event proceeds will go to three local workforce development organizations: Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northwest Area, L.E. Phillips Career Development Center, and Workforce Resource Inc. 

There will be both in-person and virtual options to participate, registration is open through June 24. Early-bird pricing is available through Feb. 28:

10K (in person or virtual): $30
2-mile (in person or virtual): $30
Youth 1/2 mile (in person or virtual): $15
Youth 1/4 mile (in person or virtual): $15

Each registration entry earns one free charity vote with additional votes available to purchase for $2 each. The charity with the most votes will receive $15,000 while second place will receive $7,500, third place receiving $5,000. The first 50 people to register will also receive an exclusive Rock the Riverfront 23 oz. Stainless steel water bottle!

The Rock the Riverfront-Charity Classic has awarded more than $7 million in grants thus far, the Foundation was created in 2012.
