‘Eau, Snow!’ Mobile Winter Challenge is Back
Visit Eau Claire announces return of free winter challenge offering prizes and wintry fun
EAU, SNOW! IT’S BACK! Visit Eau Claire is bringing back its “Eau Snow! Winter Challenge” free mobile pass for a second year now that snow has stuck. For folks wanting to explore some new spots to enjoy during the wintry Chippewa Valley months – and earn free prizes while doing so – the tourism organization’s latest mobile challenge is perfect.
Thanks to your handy-dandy smart phone, you can “check in” to each of the 18 locations that are part of the Eau, Snow! challenge when you arrive at each to start racking up points toward the prizes offered by Visit Eau Claire, which include free stickers and beanie hats.
Some of the check-in spots include Beaver Creek Reserve, Jelly Bean Hill, Boyd Park, and Lake Altoona. Each check-in earns 100 points and folks can start earning prizes at 300 points.
After eight check-ins, participants will earn one entry into a grand prize sweepstakes, and after 12 check-ins, an extra five entries will be awarded. The grand prize includes a Rumpl blanket, two Yetis, and a pair of snow tubes. The winner will be announced on April 2, unless the pass is extended.
The winter mobile pass will be up and running until April 1, assuming it isn’t extended. Visit Eau Claire will alert participants if the challenge does continue past April 1, since it’s a very real possibility the Chippewa Valley will still be enjoying a snow-filled April!
By signing up for free on the Visit Eau Claire website with your email and phone number, you will receive a link right to the Eau, Snow! challenge and you can get crackin’ on earning points in wintry fun fashion.
