– Eau Claire’s public library shared this message on Wednesday, Sept. 14, the day of its soft opening. The library’s grand reopening week is Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

– in a comment on WQOW’s Facebook page under a Sept. 5 post about an article headlined “ ‘Stoners’ are just as motivated as non-users, study finds,” in which the TV station’s followers were asked what they thought of the study.


An officer ran a record check on a person, finding they had a valid Dunn County warrant. They ran from officers and jumped in Half Moon Lake. However, this tactic proved unsuccessful as they were neither in possession of scuba gear nor were they Aqua-Man. After a short negotiation, they came out and were arrested without further incident.
