Micon Cinemas recently announced its first Downtown Cinema fall movie series aimed at kiddos in the Valley, set to begin on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Each Saturday from Sept. 24-Oct. 29, the downtown location (315 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire) will show two showings a day of the featured family-friendly movie at 10am and 1pm. Plus, tickets for those showings will be $2 each, alongside $2 popcorn (46 oz.) and soda (16 oz.).
The lineup includes Cats & Dogs, Small Foot, The Lego Movie, Scoob!, Space Jam, and The Ant Bully.
“Our summer series does so well we thought we’d give a try downtown on Saturdays since kids are in school (during the week),” Micon’s Vice President of Operations, Connie Olson, said.
The Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire theaters will not be participating in the month-long series but will continue their regular lineups.
