Ya like jazz? How about art? The l’Eau Claire Jazz Society is bringing back the Clearwater Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, Aug. 27, with jazz going non-stop from noon to 8pm. The festival will encompass all levels of The Brewing Projekt, allowing for you to take in all the different performers while sipping on some tasty beer.

There will be musical performances by Bartlett & Way, Cathy Reitz & 7Swing, FLOWt, Josh & Jeremy, Memorial HS Jazz Combo, Sweater People, The Tyler Lustek Quartet, Valerie & Friends, and Weapons of Brass Destruction.

While being serenaded by the sweet sounds of jazz, you can peruse artwork created by local artists Barry Grill, Beth Creekmore, Christy Ann Skuban, Cindy King, Deb Zanoni, Heather Pollard, Heidi Schreiner, Jennifer Hazen, Kelly Speros, Mark Lone, Nikki Bestul, Paul Brehm, Susan Carew Johnson, Tammy Ford, and Xin Obaid.

Along with the plethora of art and music, you can enjoy some delicious food from Dhimiters and Guac N’ Roll food trucks. The event is free for everyone so bring the whole family along to enjoy the day.

This is the second installment of this event, created by the l’Eau Claire Jazz Society. The Jazz Society was created in 2019 in the hopes of creating events that foster and teach others the importance and beauty of jazz music.
