For the second year in a row, Eau Claire’s Ramone’s Ice Cream Parlor is holding its Ice Cream Fest event, scoopin’ in hot as they pair it with their five-year anniversary celebration.
Staying true to its continued goal of giving back to the community, Ramone’s has committed to donating $50,000 across five local nonprofits over the next five years in celebration of their anniversary, kicking off with this Saturday’s Ice Cream Fest.
Having chosen the Power of Perception, The Community Table, Eau Claire County Humane Association, the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley as the nonprofits to receive their donations, the local orgs will also be offering fun family-friendly activities at the Fest.
Power of Perception partnered with Ramone's for the Fest last year and will be back again offering on-site haircuts, hair braiding, free food, and more thanks to their “Self Care with a Diverse Twist” programming. There will also be face painting, mini putt, free massages and yoga sessions, bouncy houses, and as they offered in 2021, an ice cream eating contest.
Held across Ramone’s (503 Galloway St.), the Oxbow Hotel’s parking lot, and the E.C. Chamber’s parking lot, there’s a sweet stretch set aside for Ice Cream Fest, happening 11am to 3pm this Saturday, July 23. Even sweeter, the event is free for all attendees!
