James Jeske is a cartoonist and humorous illustrator living in Eau Claire.
“Milk, Eggs, and Bacon” (2021) Pen, Ink, and Marker, 11”x13” by James Jeske • From the artist: “I grew up on a farm in central Wisconsin, and this drawing originated from creating cartoon sketches of farm people, animals, and buildings. Recently I have been doing much more cartooning and humorous illustration and have been focusing on the types of themes and subject matter I enjoy. My cartoons often have exaggerated animals and people interacting with each other.”
