Reach For The Sky: Rockin for REACH Fundraiser Returns

REACH Inc. is bringing the ultimate battle of the bands back to Eau Claire with the Rockin for REACH event.
A community-based non-profit providing human services to community members with disabilities, REACH Inc. (Regional Enterprises for Adults and Children), is hosting its fundraiser, Rockin for REACH, for the third year at The Brewing Projekt. On Wednesday, June 8, three performers and bands will compete for $500.
Here’s the catch: there are seven performers in the running, and by donating to the fundraiser, you get to vote for who you want to see perform. Each dollar equals one vote towards the performer of your choice.
Groups include Uncommon Denominator, TeawhYB, Weapons of Brass Destruction, Parker Reed and the Lucid Dreamers, The Over Unders, Cathay Reitz, and Vicky Yang – but only three of these talented groups will make it to The Brewing Projekt to perform.
Rockin for REACH has the goal of raising $20,000 for REACH’s services and programming. Molly Dove, the development coordinator for REACH, said the fundraiser plays a critical role in supporting the REACH mission.
“From supported employment to adult day services to childcare, we work with individuals to ensure they have the tools, resources, and skills they need to have the self-determination to fully participate in the wonderful community we live in, just like anybody else,” Dove said.
Voting is open online until May 27 at reach-inc.org, and the performance will take place on June 8 at 6pm at The Brewing Projekt. Tickets can be purchased online at e.givesmart.com.
