Food pantries around the country have helped countless families facing food insecurity, and now thanks to the Ulrich Trust and Feed My People, North and Memorial high schools in Eau Claire have their own food pantry space.

The Ulrich Marketplace food pantries are fully equipped with refrigerator and freezer units as well as storage shelves for non-perishables. The pantries will be run by student and parent volunteers using an anonymous ordering and distribution system.

In the future, there is hope for a drive-up distribution system as well as the ability to provide for families with dietary restrictions.

The Ulrich Trust was established by sisters Pat and Connie Ulrich, who were Eau Claire natives and educators. Their foundation helps support educational programs in the area.
