Cozy, chill, relaxing, luxurious – that is Caitlyn Goldsmith’s vision for her new salon, Ivy & Sage Hair Co.

Goldsmith has dreamed of opening her own salon since she was a little girl, back when she was playing and styling her three sisters’ hair. That dream is now becoming a reality, as Goldsmith is settling into her new space at 2524 Golf Road (the former location of Cherry Berry).

“I’m hoping that everyone that walks in the door feels really welcome and feels like they belong,” Goldsmith said. “The services are going to be really luxurious, really relaxing.”

Ivy & Sage will specialize in bridal hair, single-process colors, and extensions. Goldsmith loves being able to bring a bride’s vision to life on her special day and loves boho and fluffy braid styles. Her favorite service is extensions, due to their versatility, and offers three different methods of installation.

Even though COVID-19 has caused a few delays in the opening of Ivy & Sage, Goldsmith is still committed to opening as soon as possible to give her clients the hair they dream of.

When she gets settled, she is hoping to hire new employees to help make Ivy & Sage an even better place to get your hair done.

“I want to create a space where we can help each other and inspire each other to keep growing and learning,” Goldsmith said.

In the future, Goldsmith is hoping to expand her shop by possibly adding a boutique within the salon and even some suites available for rent.
