Ready to leave 2021 in the rearview mirror? Then it’s time to make plans to celebrate (safely, of course!) on New Year’s Eve. Below is a roundup of some of the events planned as the calendar flips over to 2022. Eau Claire may not be Times Square, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t have some fun.
N.Y.E. 2022 at The Lakely with The Bookhouse Boys
Begins at 5pm • FREE • The Lakely at the Oxbow Hotel, 516 Galloway St., Eau Claire
Serving a special signature dinner menu curated by Chef Luke Bilda with jazz from Paul Hecht and Hunter Delikowski (5-8pm) and the Bookhouse Boys (8:30pm-12:30am). Come dressed as your favorite character from any John Hughes movie, enter the costume contest, and you’ll be eligible to win a free night stay at The Oxbow Hotel.
All Night Gaming Bash

Ring in the New Year with the Chippewa Valley’s best big band jazz orchestra, Troppo Big Band Jazz Orchestra. Come early and enjoy a variety of appetizers along with a full bar to start the evening off right.
NYE Comedy Shows feat Rob Hines

Ring in the New Year with laughs from headliners Rob Hines and David Louis and host Luke Borchardt.
New Years Dance feat. The Thundermen

The Thundermen will be playing all your favorite hits from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s at this years big New Years Eve dance at The Moose Lodge. This dance is open to the public and reservations are required.
Final Fridays NYE 2022: Masquerade Ball

Bring in the New Year and come dance with us at The Red Mixer NYE. The music is going until at least 3am this year, and masquerade masks will be provided for the first 100 people.
