Kjersten Berard recently experienced a deeply meaningful life transformation, rewiring her belief systems to begin living a real and authentic life.

And, she wants to help others do the same thing through kindness and impact, which led her to launch Rewired & Real – a new organization with a mission to unlock kindness and create impact in the Chippewa Valley and beyond.

A mom to three boys and two stepsons, Berard kicked off the Million AOK Movement (a.k.a. the Million Acts of Kindness Movement) in conjunction with World Kindness Day on Nov. 13 and asks local folks to join a movement to perform random acts of kindness through next February, which is Random Acts of Kindness Month. Her goal is to collectively perform one million acts of kindness in the Chippewa Valley community and beyond.

“I have learned a major lesson in life and that is the only thing that will make your soul happy is being happy with who you are, not with who people think you are or want you to be,” Berard writes on her website. “We are all unique and have our own unique story to live and tell. We are here to love and be loved, all while figuring out what our true soul’s purpose is here on earth. I feel if we can help empower and inspire others by spreading love, joy, and kindness it will make all of our journeys that much sweeter.”

Individuals, businesses, families, teams, schools, and organizations are encouraged to join in to make the world a kinder place. No registration fees required, and 100% of donations raised fund local acts of kindness and youth mental health projects.

Register and log your acts of kindness online at rewiredandreal.com, and check out their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/rewired.and.real and https://www.facebook.com/millionaok-100402009087446) to see other local acts of kindness throughout the next few months.
