Local author Cathy Sultan, who recently published her novel An Ambassador to Syria, will host a virtual craft talk titled “Writing Fact to Fiction: Book Release and Craft Chat” at 7pm on Tuesday, Dec. 7. Her most recent publication is inspired by her time in Beirut, Lebanon, with her husband when the country’s civil war broke out in 1975. “My books tackle real-life conflicts and real-life people who live in these conflict zones,” Sultan said in a media release, “because these are the adventures I’ve lived, the people I know.” To register for the event, visit www.ecpubliclibrary.info/sultan.
