Every year, Volume One’s Best of the Chippewa Valley Poll asks readers to tell us about all the things, places, and people they love about our community. When we asked them about the Best Holiday Season Event for our 2021 poll, here were their top three favorites.

1. Irvine Park Christmas Village (Chippewa Falls)

2. Bridge to Wonderland Parade (Chippewa Falls)

3. Christmastime in the City (Eau Claire)

The holidays shone bright last year, with many Chippewa Valley residents celebrating their love for the season even more than usual during a particularly challenging year. The Irvine Park Christmas Village in Chippewa Falls was a bright spot during the holiday season, once again delivering a display of thousands of Christmas lights for residents to enjoy. And while the Bridge to Wonderland Parade in Chippewa Falls and Christmastime in the City in Eau Claire had to take the year off in 2020 due to coronavirus concerns, the memories of past events continue to shine bright for Volume One readers. Plus, both are back this year, which the Bridge to Wonderland Parade scheduled for Dec. 4 and downtown Eau Claire’s big event, now called Wintertime in the City, on Dec. 3 and 4.
