Grants Up for Grabs: Visit Eau Claire, DECI Seek Grant Applications

Visit Eau Claire – the Chippewa Valley’s tourism and marketing agency – is now accepting applications for the next round of its semiannual Tourism and Cultural Arts grant programs.
“It has never been a more exciting time to be part of the tourism and cultural arts scenes in the Chippewa Valley,” Visit Eau Claire’s Executive Director Benny Anderson said in a press release.
The grant program aims to “assist organizations in hosting events that will promote a positive image to potential visitors, generate overnight visits, extend visitor stays, and create a desire to return,” according to Visit Eau Claire’s website.

Individuals and organizations affiliated with performing arts, visual media, literary arts, folk art, festivals, local history, artistic series, cultural programs for grades K-12, cultural traditions, or public art installations/programs, are encouraged to apply by Nov. 15 to be considered for this fall’s grant offerings, according to a media release.
Application materials and complete grant guidelines are available on the Visit Eau Claire website. Grant funds are made possible through the City of Eau Claire and Wisconsin Arts Board, with reviews grant proposals twice per year in April and November.
DOWNTOWN ENHANCEMENT GRANTS
Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. also offers a $2,000 semiannual Downtown Enhancement Grant which aims to “further enhance the downtown aesthetic and overall quality of goods, services, and the downtown experience.”
Submissions for the January cycle are due by 11:59pm on Jan. 31, 2022. Submissions should focus on “creatively enhancing your business/organization by serving a new customer that may not be being served in Downtown Eau Claire already or serving them in a unique way,” according to the DECI website.
