All Together Now! Menomonie Theater Guild, Mabel Tainter Set for Role in Global Celebration
this November, support local performers as part of an international event highlighting the return of live theater
Ever wonder what would happen if a theater company decided to mix several hit musicals like Mamma Mia, Rent, Newsies, and Into the Woods together? Well, you can find out for yourself at an upcoming event celebrating the vibrancy of local theater.
Music Theatre International – one of the leading musical licensors around the globe – created the revue for local performers and theater organizations to host fundraiser events that would bring audiences out of their homes and back to see live theater.
“Our goal with this worldwide event is for organizations to provide hope, inspiration, and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre,” said Drew Cohen, President and CEO of MTI, in a press release.
According to MTI, more than 2,500 theater organizations – spread across every U.S. states plus 40 countries and territories around the world – have signed up to take part in All Together Now! over the second weekend in November.
All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre will be Saturday, Nov. 13, starting at 7:30pm at the Mabel Tainter Theater. Tickets to the show are $15 per person and are available for purchase at mabeltainter.org.
“We are incredibly excited to participate in this global event celebrating the return of live theater,” said Nell Johnson, vice president of the Menomonie Theater Guild’s board of directors, in a press release. “And we look forward to welcoming our patrons back with this truly wonderful revue.”
