The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild is getting ready to open the curtains on one of the longest-running and most-beloved musicals of all time: Godspell.

Godspell by Stephen Schwartz is an uplifting musical that focuses on the Gospel of Matthew, while incorporating something for everyone: whether that be pop, folk rock, gospel, or vaudeville. This will also be the first CVTG production to take place at The Pablo Center at the Confluence in two years.

“It’s amazing to think that so much time has passed,” said Ann Sessions, CVTG’s executive director. “It will be a joy to see audiences experiencing live theater, and our cast is thrilled to be back on the stage!”

The crew, musicians, and cast have all been vaccinated for COVID, and it is a requirement that attendees show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID upon entrance. This performance will take place in the Jamf Theatre at the Pablo Center at 7:30pm from Sept. 30-Oct. 2 and at 1:30pm Oct. 2-3.

Tickets can be purchased online at cvtg.org.
