Agility. Dexterity. Precision. Athleticism. Spirit. These traits define both Olympic athletes and the animals up for adoption that you watch at an upcoming Olympic-style event in the Chippewa Valley.

Bob’s House for Dogs, the Chippewa County Humane Association, Dunn County Humane Society, and Eau Claire County Humane Association will collaborate to host "As Good as Gold," a unique pet-Olympics event.

Just like the summer Olympics in Tokyo, this event is slated from July 23 to Aug. 8, where their event page will showcase adorable photos and bios of animals available for adoption – and will even feature their athletic talent and competitive spirits!

These four charitable organizations provide shelter and care for homeless animals, and operate primarily through volunteers and donations. Between the four orgs, they have found homes for over 2,200 animals last year. But, there's many more fluffy friends who are still in need of warm, loving homes.
