LET YOUR FLAG FLY. Chippewa Valley Pride in 2018.

This year The Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center is hosting Chippewa Valley Pride in Phoenix Park on Saturday, June 12. There will be vendors, community partners, a COVID-19 vaccine station, and the event will be capped off by a drag show right in Phoenix Park. Vendors will be available 11am-2pm, and the drag show will start at 3pm. Along with the Pride in Phoenix event the first-ever Pride Zine is being published. It features works by local authors and artists. Copies can be picked up at the CV LGBTQ+ Center’s booth. Due to the current conditions regarding COVID-19, we ask that those attending the Pride even wear masks if unvaccinated and keep social distancing under consideration when visiting our vendors and attending the drag performance. Masks and sanitizer will be available on site at no charge to the attendees and participants of Pride. Chippewa Valley Pride takes a tremendous amount of effort and time to coordinate. Our Pride director is stepping down at the end of this year’s Pride, so if you’d like to shape Chippewa Valley Pride’s future contact us and ask about being Pride director!
