Women’s Giving Circle Opens Annual Grant Cycle

Are you involved in a local nonprofit that helps enhance the wellbeing of women and children in the Eau Claire area? If so, you should consider applying for a grant from the Women’s Giving Circle, a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation. The latest window for submitting grant applications opened April 1, and the deadline is July 1. Grant recipients are announced in November, and funds must be used during the following year. Grants are available of up to $6,000. The Women’s Giving Circle is a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation. Its approximately 250 members use the power of collective giving by pooling their donations. The impact of each member’s $250 or more contribution is considerable: Together, members have distributed almost $358,000 in grants since the fund was established in 2007. The Women’s Giving Circle is open to everyone who wants to become a member.
