Eau Claire’s own Country Jam USA will kickoff this summer with an all-new (and all-star) headliner: the best-selling, award-winning Old Dominion.
The Nashville-based five-piece is known for No. 1 hits like “One Man Band,” “Hotel Key,” and “Break Up with Him.”
“We are thrilled to announce Old Dominion, CMA Vocal Group of the Year, has been added to the incredible Country Jam lineup, performing Thursday, July 15,” said Kathy Wright, general manager at Country Jam USA. “This group is incredibly talented and adds to the amazing line up already slated for Thursday.”
Old Dominion fills a headliner slot that opened earlier this week when Morgan Wallen canceled his summer tour. (The singer recently wrote to fans that he was working on himself after getting caught on video using a racial slur in February.)
Old Dominion will join Chris Young and Jon Pardi as headliners of the three-day fest, slated for July 15-17 on the festival grounds just outside Eau Claire.
Here are some more details from Country Jam organizers:
After having to cancel the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, festival organizers are more than excited to host the event in 2021. “We have been working with the Health Department and local authorities and are so excited to welcome everyone back to Jam 2021,” said Wright. “The return on live music and special events this summer is going to be a great moment for our community.”
Country Jam’s 2021 diverse lineup consists of 20+ acts on 3 stages. In addition to Old Dominion, Chris Young and Jon Pardi will be headlining. HARDY and Rodney Atkins will be hitting the Country Jam stage for the first time, while fan favorites Phil Vassar, BlackHawk and Tracy Lawrence and Chris Kroeze will have everyone on their feet. “We worked hard to create a balance of the hottest news acts, while staying true to our favorites,” said Wright.
