Sips From Scripts: Local Couple Pursues Cocktail Passions
viral Instagram account documents one Eau Claire couple’s journey through cocktail recipe books
An interest in bartending and a passion for photography brought a local couple’s unique Instagram account to life.
“Sips from Scripts” is the brainchild of Alex Sukopp and Kendall Williams. It was created this past summer as a way to combine Sukopp’s passion for home bartending and Williams’ photography skills.
The page is filled with beautiful, bright pictures that highlight Alex’s creative juices along with full recipes to try at home. The couple is 100% focused on one aspect of creating their content: How the drinks taste and how they’re styled. A number of drinks are highlighted with Sukopp’s own twist on existing recipes, along with many original recipes he has conjured up.
We're just thrilled to see so many people trying our recipes as our Instagram account grows. We even have friends who found out we're doing this and now use our Instagram to create a list of cocktails they want us to make them when we hang out again. It's a lot of fun.

Those include the Cocoa Negroni and Minute to Midnight, both of which have gained a lot of buzz on Instagram.
“We’re just thrilled to see so many people trying our recipes as our Instagram account grows,” Williams said. “We even have friends who found out we’re doing this and now use our Instagram to create a list of cocktails they want us to make them when we hang out again. It’s a lot of fun.”
The couple hopes their account appeals to those who are interested in bartending or photography by sharing their insight and behind-the-scenes advice on both topics. The couple’s blog, sipsfromscripts.com, will launch at the end of March and will include all of their juicy recipes.
