city will hold online open house Wednesday, Dec. 8, as well as web survey
V1 Staff |

The City of Eau Claire engineering staff is inviting the public to an online open house on Wednesday, Dec. 9, to learn about the first phase of a project that will create a new public space between City Hall and the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library.
This online event will feature a short presentation by engineering staff and project architects at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Each presentation will be followed by a chance for the public to ask questions and provide feedback.
This is the first phase of a multi-year project that will ultimately result in a new Library Plaza that will bridge the areas between City Hall and the library, giving residents and visitors another public space in which they can enjoy two of Eau Claire’s most valuable resources, its library and our beautiful trail and parks system.
In addition to the online open house, the public is encouraged to take a short survey, available through Dec. 31, that will help shape the design of the Library Plaza in a way that reflects the Eau Claire community.
