A BIT CORNY. Interested in trying something new this year? Why not join a corn hole or pickleball league?
A BIT CORNY. Interested in trying something new this year? Why not join a corn hole or pickleball league?

This may sound a bit corny, but are you in a bit of a pickle without something competitive to participate in? Eau Claire Parks & Recreation has you covered with two new adult activity groups for the fall and winter season. The Hobbs Ice Arena is hosting an adult Pickleball Open Play group until Dec. 20 with morning games from 8:30-10:30am on weekdays, and evening games from 6-8pm on Wednesday and Friday with a drop-in fee of $4. They are also hosting an Adult Cornhole League, starting Nov. 3 on Tuesdays at 7pm. Registration fees for the Cornhole League are $25 for a team, with a deadline of Oct. 27, online at eauclaire.maxgalaxy.net. So put a team together, go with some friends, or meet up (safely) with some new people for classic lawn game fun.
