The search for something new and unique – that’s the mission of Jackson Sandler and Grant Gerber, hosts for the up-and-coming 715 Podcast. With a collection of uploads since July, the podcast highlights stories of Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley community members that people don’t know much about, Sandler said.

Both hosts – students at Eau Claire Memorial High School – have previous experience with video broadcasting and audio production, thus sparking their newest collaboration efforts. With prompts submitted from their audience – viewers can learn all about local stuff with a light-hearted and inviting vibe.

“We’re trying to get a new different twist on how people live their lives and what they involve themselves in.”

GRANT GERBER

Co-HOST OF THE 715 PODCAST

The 715 Podcast brings together the importance of community through the art of storytelling. “Looking for new people really is the most important part of the show,” Gerber said. “We’re trying to get a new different twist on how people live their lives and what they involve themselves in.” Their most recent episode shares the story of how the podcast came to be, and getting to know the hosts’ backgrounds.
