If you’re missing some live classical music in your life, you’re not alone. Luckily, UW-Eau Claire is here to help. Tune in to First Fridays! They’re sleek, intimate, live-streamed performances of the classics by UWEC music faculty – live from the Pablo Center. On the first Friday of each month this fall, you can go to pablocenter.org, get tickets, and you’ll be sent a link to the stream the night of the show. Easy peasy. 

Mendelssohn & Schubert
Oct. 2 • 7:30pm
This concert features pianist Nicholas Phillips performing a collection of piano miniatures by Fanny Mendelssohn and Franz Schubert’s monumental Piano Sonata in B-flat Major, D.960.

British Music from Byrd to Britten
Nov. 6 • 7:30pm
Solo and chamber music by composers from across the pond dating back to William Byrd (Renaissance) to the time of Britten (modern day).

Beethoven @ 250
Dec. 4 • 7:30pm
Ludwig van Beethoven was born December 17, 1770, and this concert celebrates his 250th birthday with performances of music for voice, piano, and violin.
