Sean Nemetz is a commercial artist based in Eau Claire. He brings optimism to brands and ideas through cheerful, bubbly illustrations.
“My work bridges the naive with the sophisticated through a combination of hand-drawn shapes, limited color, and an eye for graphic composition. Growing up lower middle class and eventually into upper class and back again, has influenced how I think about the cultural barriers of art. Folk art and children’s book illustrations have always resonated with me because of how approachable they are to the viewer no matter the person’s background. I’ve always preferred artwork that clearly communicates an idea or a feeling over artwork that is merely technically impressive.”
