If you want to get in shape with your furry pal by your side, here’s an opportunity. The No Limits Virtual Fit Club just started this summer, organized by Noelle Chaltry, owner of No Limits Canine and a certified professional canine fitness trainer.

“With COVID-19 and the recommended safety precautions,” Chaltry says, “I was trying to come up with a way to still provide my clients with fun, relationship-building, fitness-focused activities for summer and decided to start this virtual version of a fit club with the intention of transitioning to a hybrid version as safety allows.”

Last year, Chaltry organized group hikes and walks and was hoping to continue in-person activities. With COVID-19 putting a wrench in those plans, she was determined to move forward and still provide dog owners with exciting ways to exercise with their pups this summer. Through the No Limits Virtual Fit Club, Chaltry encourages people to be active with their dogs — doing things they and their dogs enjoy, such as walking, hiking, and swimming.

The suggested exercises will benefit both the owner and fluffy Fido. For your pooch, Chaltry says, the exercises will “build body awareness, balance, and get your dogs thinking.” The cost of membership for the club is $25 per month. After joining, dog owners will be added to the Facebook group that includes “a post every weekend of a walk or hike with some videos of the kinds of exercises and behavior training we do while on a walk and a workout plan for the week that will include beginner-advanced moves.” Chaltry also shares instructional videos of the exercises during the week. Through the group, dog owners can ask questions, share progress, get tips, and more!

In July, Chaltry hopes to have some outdoor live meetings with guided walks and hikes, balance/body awareness activities, and maybe some water fun. These outdoor live meetings are $10 to attend for club members.

“My motivation in all my dog training work is to help owners build great relationships with their dogs, have fun doing it, and keep their dogs healthy,” Chaltry said.
