Since its inception 12 years ago, Chalkfest has been a celebration of creativity spread across concrete canvases. For this year’s event, co-presented by Volume One and Markquart Toyota, participating artists have been safely creating art wherever they want and submitting photos and videos (the deadline is June 12). On Friday, June 19, the gallery will go live at volumeone.org/chalkfest and members of the public will be able to vote for their favorites in various categories through Wednesday, July 1. Winners will be announced Tuesday, July 7.
