Downtown Photo Contest Looking for Your Favorites by March 27

One bright spot in our current pandemic-driven era of social isolation: Now we’ve more got time to work on our hobbies. Another bright spot: If you’re a shutterbug, your pic of downtown Eau Claire could win you a $25 gift card.
Between now and Friday, March 27, Downtown Eau Claire Inc. invites you to share your favorite new or old photo of downtown. On Friday, DECI will randomly draw three winners from among the submissions. Photos can be submitted via this Facebook post or by email at downtown@eauclairewi.gov.
Here’s the fine print: “Photos must have discernibly been taken in Downtown Eau Claire. Five entries maximum per person. By submitting, entrant agrees to DECI's use of photos for potential marketing and promotions of Downtown Eau Claire.”
Even if you don’t win, you’ll be helping to create a gallery of photos that will highlight our city’s beautiful downtown and put some smiles on your neighbors’ faces during an isolating time. So start sifting through your digital snapshots, and good luck!
