So Much Tallent: Rising comedian Sam Tallent to tape special in Eau Claire

The talented Mr. Tallent.
The talented Mr. Tallent.

Sam Tallent is a free-wheeling, whip-quick, and unpredictable performer, and he’s returning to the Chippewa Valley for two great shows. Tallent’s tour will tear through the Valley on March 11 for a free show at Zymurgy Brewing in Menomonie hosted by Clear Water Comedy. The next day, he’ll stop in Eau Claire for a show at The Plus. Tallent has been called the “absurd voice of a surreal generation” by the Denver Post. Tallent’s credentials are plenty, having worked alongside nationally known comedians Dave Chapelle, Doug Stanhope, Dana Carvey, and Hannibal Buress. He has performed at the Oddball Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Fest, and more. He won his Comedy Central Roast Battle, and has been on VICELAND’s Flophouse show. Sam regularly headlines his hometown comedy club, the Denver Comedy Works, in Colorado, where he lives with his wife and dog. For the show at The Plus, a $100 VIP package includes two tickets with front-table VIP seating, one large three-topping pizza, four free drinks, a signed poster, and four free tickets to upcoming Clear Water Comedy shows.
