It might not yet be spring, but the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce is looking ahead to autumn and all its beer-tasting, brat-savoring, nail-hammering excitement. The organizers of Chippewa Falls’ annual Oktoberfest celebration are on the hunt for a fresh logo for 2020, and they’re looking for locals to submit their designs!

Whoever’s design they like best gets a cool $150, a pair of weekend passes to the 18th annual event, and mega bragging rights. Logo entries should include the Oktoberfest banner, the festival dates (Sept. 18-19, 2020), and a few classic elements: an oak or maple leaf, use of Bavarian checkered print, and some more key details that are listed in the official rules.

Artists should consider that the logo will be reproduced in different formats or converted to black and white when coming up with their designs. Submissions should be entered as .pdf, .jpeg, or .png files to ofest@chippewachamber.org by Monday, Feb. 3 – along with the entrant’s name, mailing address, email, and phone number.
