Stuck in a reading rut? Dig yourself out and start the New Year by signing up for “Reading Challenge 2020” at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire. It’s easy and free. Readers interested in diversifying their reading can register online at www.ecpubliclibrary.info/challenge or in person at the Information & Reference Desk on the second floor.

Not only will you be expanding your mindset, you’ll also have the chance to win some great prizes. Read or listen to a book from all 12 categories during 2020 to receive free books and enter the grand prize drawing for a Kindle Paperwhite. Every month you read a book from one of the categories, stop by the library to be entered into a monthly prize drawing for $10 in Chamber “Buy Local” Bucks.

Once registered, you’ll receive a 60-page Reading Journal prepared by librarians and chock full of ideas. Each of the 12 reading inspirations is based on a particular genre or theme and followed by a long list of suggested books and inspiring quotes.

For additional info, visit www.ecpubliclibrary.info/challenge,  call (715) 839-5004, email librarian@eauclaire.lib.wi.us or stop by the Information & Reference Desk on your next visit to the library.
