“Far Places is part of a group of drawings I did for an exhibition titled Far From the Madding Crowd in 2018. I had originally intended to include paintings as well, but decided to confine the show to drawings for continuity’s sake. The process of working practically every day on the drawings, imagined places, one leading to the next, far from the world of despair and craziness that we humans appear to be unable to get beyond, became a retreat. They are addressed to me and whom they may concern.” – The Artist

Volume One finds its cover art in a number of ways, from local art shows to random emails to knowing someone who knows someone who knows a great artist. The art always originates from a current or former Chippewa Valley resident. If you'd like to submit cover art, send us a message.
