There’s so much art! Just follow the Yellowstone Trail!
Vallians and visitors alike will weave their way around Lake Wissota and east past Cadott, taking in the autumn scenery on their way to 10 locations on the annual Yellowstone Art Trail. With 10 artist stops featuring more than 30 artists, 15 places to snack and shop, and two historical tour locations, this tour will lead explorers to discover the talent and character of the northeastern Chippewa Valley. VIsitors can admire – and perhaps take home – paintings, drawings, pots, baskets, sculptures and more, or take in demonstrations by even more artists at Anson Methodist Church in Cadott or English Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. The Cadott Area Historical Society and the SBCJ Bohemian Hall in Cadott will both offer historical tours to enrich the trail experience. The event opens artist homes and studios to the public Friday and Saturday Sept. 6-7 from 9am-5pm. Participating artists include knitter and fiber artist Molly Linton, woodworker Jaimee Arneson, miced media jeweler Marilyn Browell Hoglund, and so many more.
