“My artwork portrays the fantastical with the ordinary. This helps me create art that allows me and the viewer to experience dreams with visual imagery. It lets the mind wander and explore the fantastical side of life, while also being able to feel that this fantasy can be achieved with elements of reality. This sense of escapism is not a way to leave reality behind or deem reality as a negative experience, but it is a way for the mind to discover and explore new ways of life. The themes I incorporate in my art are discovery, adventure, and mystery. This allows for the mind to further imagine and uncover one’s inner self.” – The Artist
