Grace Pedersen, a UW-Stout grad, is a motion designer at Motion504 in Minneapolis, and creates illustrations in her free time. She lives in Eau Claire with her husband, Abram.
"This piece is inspired by my love for home and my love for adventure. There’s something about seeing and experiencing new things, such as looming snow-capped mountains and vast oceans. At the same time, I very much enjoy small towns in Wisconsin, my home. I love the still winter nights, the lovely colors, and settling in by a cozy fire. So I have mixed all of these loves of mine together in this whimsical little scene. A tiny town nestled in the mountains, shadowed by leaves of red and green.” – The Artist
