Local Lit: Off the Page
Local author, former city poet laureate, and professor emeritus Bruce Taylor is moving his spoken word series from the Janet Carson Gallery to the Volume One Gallery starting Sept. 10.
The series will take on a slightly new identity with the name “Local Lit: Off the Page.” (Taylor curates a recurring Volume One feature of the same name.) Taylor will invite a diverse range of writers from the Chippewa Valley and beyond to perform their works of poetry, rhetoric, drama, fiction, and more.
The series is scheduled for 5-6pm on the second Monday of each month through May. Previous featured artists include Karen Loeb, Katie Vagnino, Brady Foust, and more. The events are free and open to the public.
